will be conducting training and
certification programs for development of software skills among
college students by setting up Centers of Excellence (CoEs) across
the state of Rajasthan.
In addition to the three existing CoEs
that were launched in Jaipur last year, IBM has launched another four
Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to teach students the open-standards
skills they'll need to compete in the ever-changing technology
workplace. The recent CoEs launched are-International School of
Informatics and Management, Maharishi Arvind Institute of Science and
Management, Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technologies and Banasthali
Vidyapith. This year, IBM has certified 376 students and trained 1680
students on IBM software products skill sets (DB2, WebSphere, RAD,
RSA and Tivoli) and on developing world-class solutions. A local
branch manager has been appointed at the office in Jaipur to monitor
and ensure that IBM's strong portfolio of services provides
businesses with a competitive edge and builds enhanced business
value.
Further, IBM is also organizing an
exclusive event for local customers - 'Grow with IBM', a program
aimed at helping businesses to experience complete affordable
solutions and expertise relevant to their industry and challenges
faced. This will provide organizations with a platform to understand
IBM's strong portfolio offerings and global expertise, during the
program.
