i-flex announces joint initiative with Intel

i-flex solutions Ltd and Intel Asia Electronics have entered in to an agreement to deploy Flexcube and

Flexcube Information Center (FIC) on Intel Architecture (IA) based platforms. As a result of this agreement, i-flex and Intel will jointly address the financial services market with scalable solutions.

The agreement envisages the deployment across both IA 32 and Itanium platform. Under this agreement, the two

companies will work jointly in the areas of business development and engineering. Intel will provide i-flex with expertise that will optimize the performance, reliability and scalability of their solutions on IA.

i-flex will design and deploy their solutions on IA based servers and Intel Networking/Communication products. Deepak Ghaisas, CEO (India Operations), i-flex solutions Ltd says, "This agreement is an indicator of the global recognition that Flexcube, our flagship Universal Banking Solution, has gained."
