Hyve Pryme gets major software update with latest Security patch from Google

Hyve Pryme, announced its most recent software update for its flagship smartphone, the “PRYME”, with Google’s latest security patch. Hyve is amongst the very few OEMs who regularly update its devices in response to customer feedback. The latest update released in January 2017 ensures security patch with latest fixes and improvements. The update, furthermore, introduces a new feature of VoLTE (Jio) Video Call Support in Dialer, adhering to the increasing demand of the same from its users.

In effect of the upgrade, current software (HMRD92B) will now be updated to HMRE90A. The same translates into a host of improvements; in addition to aforementioned feature upgrades Hyve Pryme users will now be able to enjoy battery and performance optimisations, along with the latest security patch from Google. Furthermore, there is now a tab for Emergency Rescue, to assist users in emergency situations. The feature can be accessed via Settings > Emergency rescue, after upgrading their software.

We are trying to make it our habit by releasing regular software upgrades in the future also.

Users are further advised to leave their devices once it is rebooted, since the upgrade process will take around 1-2 minutes to commence. Furthermore, to gain the best output from the battery life, users should let the same drain completely before charging it again.
