HTMT annual net profit up 22 percent

Hinduja TMT (HTMT) has reported a 22 percent growth in net profit from Rs
62.03 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 75.62
crore for the year ended March 31, 2003.

The company has reported a total income of Rs 162.48 crore for the financial
year ended March 31, 2004 compared to Rs 114.47 crore for the year ended March
31, 2003, an increase of 42 percent.

The earning per share increa-sed by 22 percent to Rs 18.49 per share from Rs
15.16 per share in the previous year.

While the total income for the quarter ended March 31, 2004 rose by 27
percent to Rs 40.79 crore, the net profit increased marginally and stood at Rs
15.54 crore, compared to Rs 15.50 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2003.

The consolidated revenues increased by 33 percent from Rs 216.78 crore last
year to Rs 288.49 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004. The consolida-ted net
profit for the year ended March 31, 2004 at Rs 86.45 crore represents an
increase of 48 percent over the previous year’s net profit of Rs 58.32 crore.
