HP India Personal System Group (PSG) launched its Xtreme value business program for its small and medium business (SMB) customers in Vadodara, one of the cities in Gujarat that HP has identified of having high potential in the state. "The HP Xtreme value business program is a customized initiative to understand and address the needs and requirements of the SMB customers," said Sameer Dhingra, Country Manager, HP PSG India.
Under this program, HP will launch its Xtreme value business points that will provide SMBs a one-stop shopping experience for all their IT needs. This includes consultancy and demonstrating the entire HP range of IT solutions from a PC to a server - designed to cater to specific needs of the SMB customers.
According to Dhingra, HP plans to set up Xtreme value business points across India to reach out to these customers. It has already screened and identified key channel/business partners to meet the needs of the SMB customer.
According to the company, this program is the first of its kind of initiative in India by any IT company and was introduced in Delhi by HP in July this year. In its effort to woo the SMB segment, HP is also organizing
roadshows.
