HP secure business notebooks launched

Banking on its enhanced security options and increased business protection,
HP has launched four series of business notebooks and tablet PCs in the Indian
market. The newly launched products include the HP Compaq 8200. 6200, 6100 and
4200 series and the products come all packed with an array of security options
and incorporate Intel Centrino mobile technology based on mobile Intel 915
Express.

"In addition to enhanced security features, these note-books are
engineered to prov-ide ease of use and reliability for mobile professionals at
competitive price range. We are taking the lead in providing innovative security
solutions for notebooks that span phy-sical safegua-rds like cable lock
solutions to advanced features that protect data and control access to ensure
that only authenticated users access business critical information,"
explained Ravi Swaminathan, personal systems group VP, HP India.

The company has priced 6100 series at Rs 49,990, 6230 series at Rs 99,990,
4200 series at 1.25 lakh and 8200 series at Rs 1.5 lakh.
