The move follows the findings of the company's annual cyber security risk report that highlights the vulnerability landscape, with a range of date covering technologies such as web and mobile.

As part of the HP Enterprise Security Products (ESP), HPSR will lead the company security research agenda, leveraging existing HP research groups, like HP DVLabs, HP Fortify Software Security Research, Zero Day Initiative.

"Organizations need the latest in security research to effectively prevent, detect and combat the growing number of sophisticated threats. HP empowers clients to address these threats by combining access to global network of security experts and published research," said Damanjit Singh Uberoi, chief solutions architect and evangelist, South Asia, Hp Enterprise Security Products.

Meanwhile, the company has enhanced its Reputation Security Monitor (RepSM) 1.5, that protects clients against advanced threats by leveraging date feeds directly from HPSR.
