Hewlett Packard has unveiled the ‘next chapter’ in HP imag-ing and
printing with an expa-nded products, solutions and services portfolio designed
to provide businesses with more choice, productivity, agility and as much as a
30 percent cost reduction in operating and managing their imaging and printing
environment.
In the process, HP is redefin-ing how companies can man-age their printer and
copier infrastructure. "The ‘next chap-ter’ of our enterprise imaging
and printing strategy will extend HP’s markets and as HP claims help companies
reduce costs, improve productivity, improve business operations and attract and
retain new cus-tomers," said, Larry Tracy, Marketing Manager (Enterprise
Imaging and Printing Group), HP.
"HP’s printing heritage and network management exper-tise put us in a
unique position to help companies take advan-tage of these new opportu-nities,"
he added.
HP has also expanded its product portfolio in India through the launch of two
new high-speed digital multi-fun-ction devices–HP LaserJet 9055MFP and HP
LaserJet 9065MFP. Targeted at the high-end business segment, the two new
products are priced bet-ween eight to nine lakh rupees. In addition to these two
models HP 9085 MFP has also been introduced.
Samir Shah, Country Cate-gory Manager (Shared Printing and Connectivity), IPG,
HP said, "These products offer the versatility of printing, docu-ment
finishing and copying–therefore, we will look at dominating this segment. Our
products create numerous cost savings on both overheads and usage, whilst
boosting pro-ductivity through improved usage patterns. By adding these product
lines to our portfolio, we will now be addressing a burgeoning market of Rs 225
crore, as defined by IDC."
