Adding to its glamor quotient, HP India has roped in Bollywood's current reigning queen Deepika Padukone as its brand ambassador, for its latest mobile computing product range.
The IT giant chose the actor as its face since it found her as the perfect choice to reflect and match company's state as successful, innovative, and stylish.
Deepika too was ecstatic about the tie-up and said, "I feel proud to be a part of the HP family. The company's products are innovative, performance-driven and very user-friendly. This is exactly what I look for in my devices too."
The company made the announcement on the sidelines of the launch of its new products, Slate6 VoiceTab and HP Slate7 VoiceTab, besides four new mobile devices.
The HP Slate VoiceTab series are slim and light tablets with voice calling capability(1), powered by a quad-core processor running on Android 4.2.2 (Jellybean) Operating System and offer 3G(2) connectivity with Dual SIM convenience.
Speaking ti the DQ Week, Rajiv Srivastava, VP and GM, Printing and Personal Systems, HP India said, "India's next generation needs next generation tools - the HP Slate6 VoiceTab and Slate7 VoiceTab are engineered for the way they multitask and stay connected. These devices deliver performance people can trust - it's more than a tablet and smarter than a phone."
HP Slate6 VoiceTab (15.2 cms) diagonal and HP Slate7 VoiceTab (17.8 cms) diagonal come with power-packed entertainment features such as dual front firing stereo speakers, front and rear HD(3) cameras. The VoiceTabs have 16GB built in storage expandable to 32GB via MicroSD card.
HP Slate6 VoiceTab is priced at Rs 23,688 and Slate7VoiceTab is priced at Rs 17,287, and are now available in India.

# HP Envy17 Leap Motion Special Edition (SE) notebook, the world's first notebook PC with Leap Motion technology. It senses natural hand and finger movements in the air for easy navigation and control. The product with a vivid 43.9 cm diagonal optional full HD(3) display, latest Intel processor and NVIDIA graphics, is priced at Rs 1, 18711.
# HP Pavilion 15 TouchSmart Notebook, a 39.6 cm notebook PC powered with Intel i5 4th Generation processor with 2GB discrete graphics, running on Windows 8.1. It is priced at Rs 5,1825.
# HP 15 Notebook that offers true reliability, maximum performance and includes exciting features such as a HD(3) webcam. The Notebook is priced at Rs 29,995 and comes with a trendsetting, black gloss finish.
