Adding to its existing range of 80 odd products, Hewlett Packard recently launched 6 new touch- enabled computing devices to transform and redefine the way people engage and consume technology. These products include detachables, notebooks, All -in-one PCs that provide seamless integration of technology through touch technology, flexible operating sytem options and new form factors,
Ketan Patel, director , consumer product category, PPS, HP India said, "These next gen devices will bring a novel experience for people to help create, consume and share content."
Elaborating further, Rajkumar Rishi, senior director, consumer business, PPS, said "HP will use its entire retail channel ecosystem including LFR's , multi retail brands , HP World Stores and e commerce portals to market these products. With this launch of 6 new personal computing products, HP has redefined the computing market and created new possibilities of business for our channel partners. We will work out interesting schemes and a trade marketing campaign to inform our partners and help in retail point- of - sale."

We will make the best use of the upcoming festive period which starts from mid August and carries on for a period of almost 6 months. The 6 products launched include HP Slate book x2, HP Split x2, HP Envy Rove , HP Pavillion 11 Touchsmart Notebook. , HP Envy Touch Smart 14 ultra book, HP Slate All-in-one .
The HP SlateBook x2 is the first anroid device by HP. It offers the full functionality of a notebook with a removable screen that also is a sleek tablet. By releasing the magnetic hinge, people can move elegantly between the two form factors-tablet and notebook PC. The result is a device that is 100% tablet and 100% notebook all at once. It is available in India at a price point of Rs 39,990 and will be launched in the country in the first week of August.
HP Split x2 is a hybrid device which is a notebook first and and then a tablet .It is two-in-one detachable PC that has Windows 8 operating system and Intel processor. People can use it as a portable notebook for any intensive task, and a 13-inch tablet that provides entertainment capability for games, videos and audio.
HP Split x2 is priced at Rs 64,990 and will be available in India in August.
The HP ENVY Rove All-in-one PC is HP's first mobile All-in-one PC which frees the desktop PC from the desk and allows people to use for a shared entertainment experience. It can move from upright to completely horizontal for a tabletop entertainment experience. Using advanced multitouch technology, multiple people can interact with games and more at the same time. HP Envy Rove is priced at Rs 31,990 and will be available by end August.
For people on the go, the HP Pavilion 11 TouchSmart Notebook claims that this is the most affordable touch notebook with a 10 point touch finger support and a 11.6 inch touchscreen along with Windows 8 experience. It is priced at Rs 31,990 and available by end of July in India.
HP Envy TouchSmart 14 Ultrabook with dual speakers and a subwoofer offers richest audio on a PC. It uses NVIDIA discrete graphics and 2GB of video memory.
The product is priced at Rs 64,990 and is already launched in July.
The HP Slate21 All-in-One is claimed to be a cheapest touch based PC which offers a 21.5-inch Full HD(2) diagonal reclining IPS touchscreen and is aimed at families for entertainment and productivity features, plus fun Android apps.
HP Slate21 All-in-One is priced at Rs 24,990 and will be available by August 15.
