With a view to provide first hand information on latest
technological advances to prospective SMBs and government sector of Jaipur,
Hewlett Packard's commercial division had recently organized HP Smart event
at hotel Jaimahal Palace, Jaipur. The event was supported and arranged by HP'S
premium business partner of Jaipur, BB Professionals Marketing Pvt Ltd

Almost 70 people from across Rajasthan and verticals
ranging from government, manufacturing and BPO attended the event which focused
on technical and general aspects of HP servers, business notebooks, workstations
and business desktops. According to claims made by BB professional HP has been
doing a fabulous business across Rajasthan and event of this nature will further
fuel the growth of the brand in the state. Recently the vendor had received one
government order worth Rs 4 crore in addition to other orders from PWD, RajComp
and DoIT (Department of Information Technology) Rajasthan.

About 70 people from across
Rajasthan attended this event

Talking about the success of HP event Ashim Bhasin,
Director, BB Professional said, “The HP event was a grand success as the
attendees showed genuine interest towards HP commercial products and appreciated
efforts made by the company personnel towards meticulously explaining
technical details of HP high-end products. The objective behind this event was
to acknowledge to our existing as well as potential customers that the kind of
solutions they are looking to adopt are available with the vendor. As the businesses
in Rajasthan are escalating to new heights but most of the times they remain
uninformed about the technological advancement, which could do wonders to
the efficiencies of their manpower. The HP event laid emphasis on this very
issue where IT decision makers of the companies gathered knowledge on various
high end products of HP.” Raghav Lal, Product Specialist (servers)
corroborated, “Though people in Jaipur are not much acquainted with the emerging
technology but the fervour with which they responded to the event is a very
optimistic sign of surge in technology adoption in B and C class cities like
Jaipur.”

An interactive session between HP representatives and
participants was also organized. During this session CTO's and CIO's of the
companies discussed on finding a solution to the pain areas experienced by them
in managing IT environment of their firms. HP representatives faced majority
of the queries about servers and storage.

HP is also vying to rope in more reseller partners in
Jaipur for which the vendor is very soon going to systematize a channels event
in the state.
