Coimbatore-based Vijex Office Product is on cloud nine these

"This recognition is very prestigious as this is the first
time we have received this award and that too in the upcountry category.
Normally, many upcountry traders find it difficult to have a good run, but
despite all odds, we managed to give them tough competition and won this
award," said Baid.

The second reason for Vijex to celebrate is that the company has
just completed their 25th year in the industry.

"We celebrated our silver jubilee recently and we are
delighted to celebrate this event. We are proud to be one of the oldest and
leading suppliers and distributors of office equipment's consumable and
components," he added.

Vijex is also on an expansion spree. We have had our branches in
northern regions like Mumbai and Delhi. Baid said, "We also have branches
in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Cochin, and Pondichery. We plan to open more
centers in Chennai."

Even though Vijex has few centers in northern region, Baid felt
that there is more competition as compared to southern region, but the region is
contributing a good percentage to the total revenue.

Vijex Office Product experienced a growth of about 35 percent as
compared to last year's growth. "Our channels contributed to our
expansion and growth. Since we are concentrating highly on the corporates and
government projects, we expect this growth to increase in the coming
years," Baid said.

Vijex plans to deploy more channels in its network. "We are
looking forward to including more channels into our network so that we could
complete the target we have set for us to have a bilateral growth with the
channels," Baid commented.
