Hoshiarpur, a small town in Punjab, now has an association for the IT channel community. Some of the leading channel partners of the city have come together to form the Hoshiarpur Computer Dealers’ Association
(HCDA).
In a meeting held recently in the city, the office bearers and the executive committee members were elected. BK Dhir of Texas Computers Inc has been elected as the first-ever President of
HCDA.
The office bearers elected were Sanjeev Thukral of Infotech Computers as VP, Manpreet Singh Rehsi of Rehsi Infosys as Secretary and Radhey Sham Saini of Impel Infotech as Cashier.
Members of the executive committee include Barjinder Singh of Shivam Technologies, Gurdeep Singh of Swami Com-puters, LR Sharma of Neelkamal Enterprises, Pankaj Rampal of Pace Comnet, Prem Saini of Nice Enterprises, Rakesh Sha-rma of Super Computers, Ravi-nder Sidhu of Avisa Computers and Vanish Bagga of Softcell Computers.
The association has decided on certain objectives which they would like to fulfill. These inc-lude–to maintain the best mutual relationships between member; to maintain the best relationships with the vendors and distributors; to provide best quality products and ser-vice to the customers; to main-tain a level of understanding between members, vendors as well as with customers; to discuss and share the current market trends, products and business opportunities; to discuss and share problems, disputes etc and solve them, whether it may be with the vendor or with the customer; and to increase the volume of purchases so that better sales, service and price can be provided to customers.
