Discussions on the fall in the rupee bring up many economic matters such as slowing economic growth, corporate earnings and market volatility. In the past few months citizens have faced demonetization on different levels. Some found it really difficult to manage and criticized PM Modi whereas on the other hand some totally supported and encouraged the effort by the government to go digital and become a cashless economy.

Looking at the IT industry all over India, the IT dealers are facing market slow down and says that there is demand in the market but people are not willing to buy items as are not ready to pay the transaction charges.

With the coming in of Union Budget 2017, the IT dealers in Trichy  expects good for the IT market out of it. Here dealers are facing market down. Just like other IT markets in India, there is no cash flow in Trichy market.

Talking to The DQ Week, Suresh Kumar .K, a local dealer in Trichy said, “The rise in dollar has already affected the prices of IT products including RAMs, printers etc. and then the announcement of demonetization. All such factors have resulted in market slow down”.

Manivel, President, Association for Computer Traders Trichy(ACT-T) added that “We as IT dealers want that there should be no additional taxes introduced in the Budget this year as the business is already going through a lot.”
