High performance rack-mount Internet platform

Portwell,
recently announced a new series rack-mounted application platform, NAR-2140.
NAR-2140 is based on VIA C3 CPU with VIA CLE266 chipset. This appliance platform
is capable of integrating customer side software related to net-work security,
network mana-gement and network data processing, providing a high performance
networking platform choice to the market.

NAR-2140 provides four Fast Ethernet ports for net-working connection and
one MiniPCI slot for the network-ing encryption/decryption and wireless LAN
applications. NAR-2140 is not only equipped with 128MB memory for basic
operation, but also offers one more memory slot to fulfill the extension demands
towards higher memory capacity. On the storage side, besides Flash-based storage
media such as Compact Flash and DOM, customers could even choose 3.5-inch IDE
HDD as high capacity storage implementation.
