Data Systems (HDS) has opened an
office in Pune. Hitachi has also appointed Sushim Mukherjee as
Regional Director for Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. He will be
responsible for driving the HDS's technology alliances strategy,
sales as well as key marketing requirements of the western region.
Venugopal, VP and GM, HDS, India, said, "This expansion is part
of our ongoing growth strategy and it will help us in penetrating key
BFSI, manufacturing, healthcare and IT/ITeS segments of this region."

to Hitachi Data Systems, Sushim was with Sun Microsystems. At Sun
Microsystems, he was responsible for setting up the regional sales
and support operations for Maharashtra and Goa. He has done his B.E.
in Computer Science and has more than 17 years of combined
international experience in consultative selling, primarily in
overall system integration requirements within the corporate
enterprises, BFSI and SME sectors.
