HDFC automates workflow with Staffware

Staffware, a company dealing in Business Process Management (BPM) software, has announced a major contract with HDFC Bank, India. Staffware would provide the Bank with the Staffware Process Suite workflow management solution as the Bank seeks to reduce costs whilst maintaining growth and exceptional levels of customer service.

HDFC Bank is viewing Staffware's Process Suite as an essential component in its growth plans. The software would help the Bank to augment its centralized processing thus reducing costs whilst maintaining high levels of service. 

By identifying, streamlining and automating key elements of the workflow associated with business critical tasks such as account opening in the retail sector and trade finance in the corporate banking arena, Staffware will help the bank conduct business faster and more efficiently.

HDFC Bank selected Staffware for enterprise use following an exhaustive evaluation process that considered both technical capabilities and business application of a number of solutions from leading vendors. Also important was Staffware's open solution, which allows it to integrate with a wide range of systems from other vendors and those developed in house. 

The final enterprise solution is to be integrated with third-party systems to provide document imaging and storage with Staffware managing the workflow.
