HCL Infosystems Ltd announced that its Office Automation (OA) Division has
won the prestigious Gold award for the year 2000 from the Electronic Imaging
Department of Toshiba Singapore Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of $ 46 billion Toshiba
Corporation. HCL Insys has been adjudged the best partner out of the 23
countries in the AP region.
Akira Inai, President, Toshiba TEC Corporation, presented the award to V
Rajendren, GM, OA Division, HCL Infosystems at a function held in Bangkok
recently.
The OA Division had earlier won the ‘Excellent Support Company’ award in
the year 1999 from Toshiba. HCL has been the exclusive marketer and service
provider of Toshiba’s color, analog and digital copiers in India for more than
22 years.
This award instituted in the year 1998, aims to recognize and honor the
partner that contribute most significantly to Toshiba copier growth in the AP
region. It evaluates partners performance on various parameters including the
commitment to business, market penetration, market share achieved by partners.
It also evaluate the market share achieved in the partner country with
innovative marketing programs initiated by the partner and last but not the
least customer support provided.
