HCL Peripherals appoints Simos Peripherals as disti

In a strategic move to increase its reach and availability, HCL Peripherals Limited, a leading IT company, has appointed Madurai-based Simos Peripherals as its authorized distributor for the region. 

Simos Peripherals will cover markets coming under Madurai to Kanyakumari territory and the company has been authorized to market HCL Diamond keyboards, HCL CRT and LCD monitors and also touch screen products.

Simos Peripherals is the fifth authorized distributor of HCL Peripherals in Tamil Nadu. "We have identified Madurai region as one of the fastest growing markets and we want to have a key channel partner in the market. Simos Peripherals has a strong channel network and good reach in the region and HCL Peripherals will leverage with it," said VR Kirubakaran, Manager (Marketing), HCL Peripherals Limited.

The other authorized distributors in Tamil Nadu are Universal Micro Systems (UMS) for Chennai, Intech Computers in Vellore, Netvision Technologies in Coimbatore and Baba Marketing in Trichy. "Presently, we have 17 regional distributors across the country and we will be adding another eight distributors in the network, in the next couple of months. By this year end, the company will have 35 distributors across the country," he said.

HCL Peripherals is betting big on its LCD monitors and information kiosks in business, apart from its thin-client solutions.
