HCL among the Deloitte's 50 fast growing companies

HCL
Infosystems, India's pre­mier infor­mation ena­bling and integration
company, has been recently conferred by Deloitte and Touché in their Deloitte
Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific and Deloitte Technology Fast 50 India programs.

Acknowledging
the award, George Paul, Executive VP, HCL Infosystems, said, “It is a matter
of great honor and pride for HCL to have won these prestigious awards. It has
reinforced our leadership position once again. This will only inspire us to
excel and do better each time.”

The
Deloitte Technology Fast 50 India Program recognizes and rewards fast growing
technology compa­nies in India. The award ranks the 50 fastest growing
technology companies in the category “Deloitte Techno­logy Fast 50 India
program”, public or private, based on percentage revenue growth over three
years and includes all related industry sectors.

This
is the first time the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 India program has been held in
India.

HCL
Infosystems joined the billion-dollar club by registering revenue over US$ 1.7 b
this year. The Company has reported consolidated revenue of Rs 7,783.6 crore (USD
1739.7 Mn.) during the year ended 30th June 2005 as against Rs. 4411.8 crores (USD
986.1 Mn.) in the previous year, a growth of 76 percent. Profits - Profit after
tax is reported at Rs. 227.7 crores (USD 50.9 Mn.) as against Rs. 175.1 crores (USD
39.1 Mn.) in the previous year, a growth of 30 percent.
