Haryana CM banks on digitalization for state-wide transparency

While underlining the significance of education, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal launched four major digital initiatives in digital India week including Phase-I of “PARIVARTAN” School MIS portal, ITI online admission portal, Knowledge Lit Career- KLiC courses.

Haryana would be first state of country to implement “Parivartan” school MIS Portal in all government schools. In this  initiative data of all the students including their guardians will be prepared.

The CM launched these programmes on the concluding day of Digital India Week programme and said “government had observed December 25 as good governance day and successfully launched CM Window for redressal of grievances, e-registration, e-stamping and Aadhar link birth registration.”

Government had also decided to link 164 services with online system so as to ensure hassle free delivery of services to people. Out of these, more than 24 services have been linked and remaining are in process. The government’s endeavour was that online system should reach village level and benefit of digital India digital Haryana reach the common man.

IT channel has been gaining support from Haryana government and CM stated, “ role of digitalization as matchless and indescribable in preventing the corruption at all levels saying that IT and online services are immensely helpful in this direction.”

“The lesser human interference will reduce corruption and reminded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had apprised him about computer system in year 1996. About 20 years back, nobody imagined that the usage of computer would grow so much in times to come.”

With the digitalization of maximum services either introduced or being launched, the online services would provide plenty of benefits to all including children, students and senior citizens. They need not to go anywhere for their routine work and digitalization would also ensure transparency at all levels, he added.

The Chief Minister also emphasized on providing computer education in schools so as to make the students technology savvy and congratulated the concerned officials for their earnest efforts in making the Digital India Week programme a great success.
