Girl Child to get Rs.11,000 FD from Joint effort of HDFC and OXXY

Announcing the joint effort, from now on every girl child born in the country will be given a Free FD of Rs. 11,000 in HDFC Bank powered by OXXY.  In the initiative every girl born on OXXY Network which is 1.8 lac hospitals, diagnostics and pathology labs across the country can avail the benefits of the program. The program is absolutely free for everyone to enroll in the country.

Oxxy Girl Child Development Program is available for every expecting mother to save for the bright future of her child. Oxxy will educate the mothers about the timely tests and precautions as per global standards. These steps will also help in bringing the infant mortality rate down in the country.

HDFC will help the process of opening a Fixed Deposit for Girl child. The girl child will be able to encash the FD when they turn 18.

Pankaj Gupta, Director Oxxy is delighted to see the interest of other brands to come forward and join hands for an initiative which empowers women. According to him, it’s a win-win situation.
