Gilboa ranks CitiDirect as #1 online banking service

The Asian Banker Gilboa Report, the authoritative and comprehensive quarterly ranking of e-banking and m-banking of over 100 financial institutions in Asia, has ranked Citibank India's "CitiDirect Online Banking" as the #1 corporate Internet Banking service in India. This follows the #1 rating for Citibank's retail Internet banking offering in India - CitiDirect - earlier this year.

The Gilboa Report said that Citibank sets itself apart through its global reach with its online multiple currency cheque writing and demand draft requests features. According to the report, the launch of Citibank's global corporate Internet banking business product has propelled it forward to share the top spot in India with HDFC CitiDirect Online has over 300 users across 60 corporate customers in India.
