Gigabyte triples number of resellers

once again the continual success of its channel incentive schemes,

India, one of the leading manufacturers of motherboards,

has announced that it has tripled its number of value partners
through the Q3
face="Times New Roman, serif"> style="font-weight: normal;">Gigabyte
face="Times New Roman, serif">Value
Partner Program (GVPP), over the figures achieved in the Q2 program.
Receiving an overwhelming response from the channel community across
the country, over 850 resellers took advantage of the Q3 program,
compared to 300 in the Q2 program. An
amazing number of over 2,000 resellers registered for the Q3 program,
named the '
size="3">5
Million Salebrations Program' (to highlight GIGABYTE India reaching
5 million installed base of its motherboards in India), which was run
from July 1 to September 30, 2010. Of these, over 850 have become
eligible for attractive prizes, such as gold coins, laptop bags,
trendy jackets, and movie tickets (depending on the points redeemed),
and also qualified for the lucky draw that can win them bikes, LCD
televisions, iPods, etc.

points collected by partners for the Q3 GVPP totaled 4 million,
wherein they were eligible for winning
color="#000000">gifts
worth the same amount as the number of points earned by them. size="3"> The
2-tier scheme not only ensured wider geographical penetration for
face="Times New Roman, serif"> style="font-weight: normal;">Gigabyte face="Times New Roman, serif">
motherboards, but also ensured the graduation of a large number of
resellers from value partners to premium partners. The Q3 scheme was
extended to include tier-2 and tier-3 regions across states, such as
Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar,
Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, West
Bengal, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh.
