Fujitsu to get a new CEO

Technology announced the
appointment of Rolf Schwirz as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Schwirz will report directly to Richard Christou, Corporate Senior
Executive VP at Fujitsu Limited.

Schwirz is currently working with SAP
as the Head of Mature Markets EMEA. Prior to SAP, Schwirz spent 12
years in various roles at Oracle, including those of VP- Sales,
Germany; CEO Nordic-Germany, and Senior VP Western Continental
Europe. Munich-based, Schwirz began his career in 1983 as a systems
consultant, holding a number of management positions at Siemens
Nixdorf and Siemens AG.

“I believe Rolf has the breadth of
experience in both products and services to bring real added value
and leadership to Fujitsu,” said Richard Christou, Corporate Senior
Executive VP, Fujitsu Limited.

Schwirz will take up his new position
at Fujitsu Technology Solutions by November 2010 latest.
