Franklin Jones takes over as President, Intel India

Intel Technology India Pvt Ltd announced the appointment of Franklin Jones as
its new President effective from October 2005.

Jones will be responsible for managing the company's relationships with
governments both at centre and state levels, Government entities, site
management, education initiatives and university engagements in India. He will
also oversee research activities at Intel India Development Centre in Bangalore.

He succeeds Ketan Sampat, the current President of Intel India.
