Foxlink has included its Bluetooth headset as one of its main
product offerings this year after a European mobile phone brand selected its
device. This has opened the gate for Foxlink to enter mobile phone ODM market.
As the gross of Bluetooth headset is usually higher than mature information
hardware (IT) products, Foxlink plans to elevate the ratio of Bluetooth related
products to drive the revenue and is hoping for higher profits in 2007.
In terms of Bluetooth mobile phone headset, Foxlink's
trial-run volume reached 2,00,000 units in a month and will increase at 4,00,000
to 5,00,000 units in the future from this new Euporean client. It is also
expected to obtain mobile phone ODM orders from the same client this year.
Foxlink has been taking Bluetooth headset manufacture contracts from major
American mobile phone brands with over 10 models. Bluetooth headset has become a
major profit center for Foxlink. Foxlink's profits grew at NT$948 million with
EPS of NT$2.61, primarily driven by Q4 sales revenues. The profit of the first
three quarters was NT$1.89 billion with EPS of NT$5.
