Fortune Marketing has expanded to West India to a great response. CEO Manoj
Gupta is looking forward to double the turnover of the Fortune computer
accessory brand Enter. Gupta has recently expanded operations with branches in
Mumbai and Ahmedabad. "We have had great response. Also, west India is a
big market to operate in," said Gupta. The company already has exten-sive
operations in South India through branches in Bangalore, Chennai and
Secunderabad.

The importing and distribution company Fortune is also working on expanding
its product line. Fortune Enter-branded Video Editing Cards, Input-Output Cards,
Bluetooth dongles, IR Port and PC components-are sold to OEM partners like HCL
and Acer and distributed through its channel network. The company operates with
close to 2,500 partners and is looking at increasing the presence of its product
in retail. "We will be bringing in some of the latest products to India in
January 2005," he said talking about the expansion in the product line of
the brand.

In existence since the last three years Enter is yet to undergo a branding
exercise. "Resources are a factor," said Gupta. Fortune has adopted a
low-key approach and has been fairly successful in the markets it operates in.
The company taps into its database of resellers and OEMs to introduce new
products and has managed good volumes doubling it year-on-year, informed Gupta.
