Hyderabad based Fortune Informatics Ltd, a software solutions company is
going to focus on document management for its Orissa operations. The company has
successfully completed a big document management order for State Bank of India,
Bhubaneswar branch and is all set to increase its focus in the same area.
"We have just completed this document management and scanning order for
SBI, which involved 40,000 customers in Bhubaneswar. SBI is likely to extend
this to their other branches as well. So in the coming months, document
management solutions would be one such focus area for ourselves," informed,
Soumya Rajan Patnaik, Business Development Executive (East) for Fortune
Informatics. The company has also installed its enterprise Document Management
Solution (DMS)-WebBiz–a Center for Youth and Social Development (CYSD) in
Bhubaneswar. "There are a lot of enquiries about this product from various
government and private organizations and we hope to do well in Orissa. Of late,
there has been a lot of demand for our product in the market, as there is a lot
of documentation to be done in the electronic format. So we are going to focus
on this area and penetrate into other geographical areas of the state as
well," he explained.
The company is also facilitating document management effort in Ranchi using
its enterprise DMS-WebBiz. " We are doing close to three lakh documents for
Ranchi branch of SBI. WebBiz provides a ready to use uniform environment as an
application that enables companies to, consolidate, manage, process and
distribute information within and outside the enterprise. It helps organizations
to create the right atmosphere for teams to collaborate and contribute to the
organization. It also facilitates users not only to build an information
repository, but also distribute and process information through workflow and
provide business intelligence to managers in order to take informed
