FITAG appoints Yogesh Thakkar as its president

The Federation of IT
Association Gujarat ( href="https://www.dqweek.com/fitag-to-organize-second-annual-awards">FITAG)
has announced the name of its new
president. Yogesh Thakkar has been officially elected the President
of FITAG. Prior to this role, Thakkar had been handling FITAG affairs
for the past 2 years as a general secretary. He is also the founder
of Baroda Information Technology Association (BITA).

“The new president of
FITAG has been unanimously selected by the members. All of us
consider Thakkar to be the most appropriate and efficient person, who
will be able to solve the problems of the dealers,” said Kaushik
Pandya, the outgoing president of FITAG. FITAG is a statewide
federation of the local associations in Gujarat, and addresses the
problems of the partners, in a unified manner. According to Pandya,
the community until today has not faced any problem from distributors
and manufacturers.

Speaking on his
appointment, Thakkar said, “I am really glad to become the
president of FITAG and thanks to all the members for believing in me.
Certainly, I will see to it, that each and every IT association from
the state involve themselves in the growth of the federation. We will
organize regular meetings to update our members about any new
initiatives undertaken by FITAG.”
