style="font-size: 11pt;" size="2">Professionally
as well as personally I had a long 13 years of association with Anees
Khalfay and I am proud to say that he has been my 'Idol'. My
association with Khalfay began in 1997 when I was working with TAIT
for their classifieds section as a sales executive. He was a thorough
gentleman who believed in his ideas and core values genuinely. Later
when I joined Compu Times, Khalfay initiated the idea for a TAIT
directory and we used to interact for the collection of ads. He used
to accompany me for the meetings while he also assisted me in the
TAIT directory, it was during this phase that I really bonded with
him and our association lasted till now.
Last
year when I was going through a bad phase in my life, I became more
attached to Anees Bhai because he did really help me a lot during my
worst times. He initiated and helped me in finding a job with COM-IT
(IT expo) which I can never forget. It was indeed a special moment
for me and my family and I don't think if I can ever repay him
back.
He
was very dedicated towards his work and left no stones unturned when
it came to complete that particular work. I have always seen him
contributing lots of ideas to increase the revenues for TAIT and
every time he would come up with a new and innovative idea for
COM-IT. When I say that he was helpful I really mean it, because I
have seen him, he would readily go to any extent to help the
partners.
On
a personal bonding he used to advice me on lot of things like new
business trends, building relationship with the partners, surviving
in the bad times and many more. He always chose to remain low
profile, yet kept an eye on the upcoming market trends. I think his
most important quality was his experience and thorough information
about the channel business.
Once
I was working late in office when I received a call from Khalfay at
around 11pm. He informed me that they had caught a fraudster and
Anees Bhai wanted me to assist him to take the fraudster to the
police station. And along with other people accompanying we handed
the fraudster to the police. I would describe Anees Bhai as the most
hardworking, dedicated, genuine person I have interacted till date. I
will miss his presence in my life always.
