Application Delivery Networking major F5 Networks is set to come out with a
slew of new as well as improved offerings in the next few months.

"The first set of announcement will happen at the end of this month and later
would follow in October and November. This would entail augmenting performance
much more while reducing prices, i.e. better performance at better prices," he
said.

Without divulging much, he said that the roll-outs would be in line with the
success received with a product rolled out three months back, VIPRION which is a
bladed system that consolidates networking and security functionality,
processing power, load balancing, and application delivery service
virtualization into a shared, scalable chassis.

"Today, it is an industry benchmark and enables truly on-demand applications.
In a full-blown chassis, it has achieved 36GB levels of throughput and there is
no comparable product to it. We are working on the same lines of throughput,
with better prices for our other product models," he said.

Pointing to recent trends Singh views consolidation as the next opportunity,
as companies are consolidating their servers at the back-end but the people
resources are spreading out, which poses the challenge of making the
applications available smoothly to the user.

The company has big plans for India having grown about 145 percent last year
and hoping for three-digit growth in the next few years here.
