EXCLUSIVE: Seagate's Ritesh Chopra joins Norton India

Norton, the consumer products and solutions brand of Symantec has announced the appointment of Ritesh Chopra as country sales manager, India and Saarc. Chopra, who has succeeded Gaurav Kanwal, is based out of Delhi and will be heading the entire operations of Norton business in India and Saarc. Chopra's rich domain experience and strong relationship with the channel will contribute in enhancing market penetration across the country.

According to Norton India, "India is a key market for Norton and we are focused on widening our horizon and creating new opportunities to ensure seamless availability of our world-class security solutions throughout the country. In a career spanning over 14 years, Chopra has worked in consulting, business research, supply chain, pricing and marketing analytics. He is having expertise and experience of launching new brands. Prior to this he has worked at Seagate in various major roles. In his last role at Seagate he was the product marketing manager NAS Solutions - APJ, located in Singapore from April 2010 to January 2012, APAC channel marketing manager and marketing manager at Seagate Singapore headquarters.
