Exabyte appoints Imation as its disti

Exabyte Corporation, provider of tape backup, restore, and archival systems
and Imation Corp, provider of removable data storage media, have anno-unced the
expansion of their existing relationship to estab-lish Imation as an authorized
reseller of Exabyte's VXA and Magnum (LTO Ultrium) drives, libraries and media
throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Exabyte has a strong presence in the APAC region with offices and operations
in Singapore, Tokyo, China, India, and Australia. The company would benefit from
Imation's strong distribution capabilities and end-user relationships. This
agreement expands Exabyte's existing distribution channels to provide more
coverage in the region.
