ETS ties up with US firm

Chennai-based Endeavor Technical Services, provider of end-to-end e-commerce solutions, has tied-up with US-based SynaptiCAD, a player in the VLSI segment with a track record of over 9 years.

As part of agreement, the two companies would work together in three key areas namely tool, software development & implementation, product distribution, VLSI
eEducation/training.

Initially, ETS will be developing specialized gate-level design simulation tools at its Offshore Development Center located in Chennai for SynaptiCAD & its clients. This will include developing programs in VC++, VHDL & Verilog. The development will be both on NT, Linux & UNIX platforms. ETS will assist SynaptiCAD by providing trained manpower while SynaptiCAD will provide the technology for projects undertaken by any of the two companies in the VLSI area. ETS will offer these trained personnel who will offer their services from its offices in USA & Offshore Development (ODC) Center at Chennai.

With this tie-up ETS also becomes the sole Indian distributor for all SynaptiCAD's existing and forthcoming products.

Another key area where ETS will co-ordinate with SynaptiCAD will be in the field of education & training. Design Engineers from ETS will be specially trained on all the latest simulation tools from SynaptiCAD, which will then be put into use by ETS to providing high-end education to corporate and engineering students.

ETS will provide "Industry & Project Focussed" training based on SynaptiCAD's existing products and forthcoming ones to professionals, corporates and engineers' who wish to step into the lucrative VLSI arena. ETS will offer this training through its CAP (Circuit Architect Program) Technology Center, the training arm of
ETS.
