eSys launches sub 10K Intel based PC

Singapore based eSys, has announced the launch of Intel based multimedia PC
models at prices starting at Rs 9,990.

According to the company release, eSys attribu-tes the price points to the
re-cent decrease in tariffs and sou-rcing efficiencies related to eSys global
presence in 25 countries.

The release further stated that eSys would offer three models around Intel
CPU plat-forms–ePC Magma CE, ePC Magma PG and ePC Magma H248.

ePC Magma CE would fea-ture Intel Celeron 1.7 GHz CPU, 845 GL motherboard,
52X CD ROM, 40 GB Seagate HDD, 128 MB Hynix DDR RAM, keyboard, scroll mouse,
white cabinet at a price of Rs 9,990 (15-inch color monitor extra at a price of
Rs 4,300).

ePC Magma PG would feature Intel Pentium IV 1.8 GHz, 845 GL motherboard, 40
GB, 7200 RPM Seagate HDD, 128 MB DDR RAM, 1.44 MB FDD, 56 K internal modem, 52X
CDROM, keyboard, scroll mouse, speakers, white cabinet at a price of Rs 15,690 (
15-inch color monitor extra at a price of Rs 4,300).

ePC Magma H248 would feature Intel Pentium 2.4 HT, Asus P4P 800 motherboard,
1.44 MB FDD, 40 GB 7200 RPM Seagate HDD, 256 MB DDR RAM, multimedia keyboard,
scroll mouse, speakers, 56 K internal modem, black and silver cabinet, at a
price of Rs 22,690 (15-inch color moni-tor extra at a price of Rs 4,300). Local
taxes and government levies are extra as applicable.
