eSys launches Intel-based

multimedia PC at Rs 9,990

Singapore based eSys, has announced the launch of Intel-based
multimedia PC models–‘ePC’, at prices starting at Rs 9,990 for the first
time in the country.

eSys attributes the break-through price points to the recent
decrease in tariffs and sourcing efficiencies related to the companies’ global
pres-ence. The ‘ePC’ has attained significant success in UK, Korea and
Singapore during the last one year and plans to replicate the same in India.

eSys shall offer three models around Intel CPU platforms
targeted at value, performance and power segments . All mo-dels come with
specified best in class components configured for reliability and optimum
performance.

"The price points shall facilitate higher PC pene-tration
and expand available PC market size in India. In line with the government’s IT
policy, eSys commits to extend the full advantage of duty reduction to consumers
at the earliest," said GS Paul, CEO, eSys India.
