smaller towns and cities like Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam, Kurnool,

Warangal, Nellore, Tirupathi, Guntur etc in Andhra Pradesh as well as

in the country.

India has about four crore people registered at

its employment exchanges out of which only two lakh gets job. Hence,

there is a need for a private employment exchange. With the number of

youth joining the Indian workforce, its strength is subjected to

increase to 160 million in the next ten years, from about 40 million

currently. The Company is ensuring to meet their emerging employment

needs by having its pan-India presence through sales offices and

franchisees all over the country.

Nitin Deveshwar, MD, Esource

India, said, ”The growth in India's economy has helped bring

about a tremendous growth in the manufacturing, banking and service

sectors in the country. The job recruitment market here is set to

grow at 20 percent per annum and touch the Rs 2,000 crore mark in

five years from the present Rs 1,000 crore. The country's

manufacturing sector was growing at eight to 10 percent, expecting to

generate 0.5 million employment opportunities alone.” He further

said that the shift of industrial activities to smaller towns has

also created major job opportunities in these areas. Citing examples

of higher job opportunities following industrialization in

Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam, Kurnool, Warangal, Nellore, Tirupathi,

Guntur etc in Andhra Pradesh besides other small towns in the

country, Deveshwar said that Esource India would now become an

effective platform for these industries to connect to potential

employees from such towns and cities. Deveshwar said, “Esource

India is effectively going to use the social networking model to

ensure potential job seekers remain members on the portal and keep

updating their profiles in order to let potential job providers know

their intentions ie whether they are looking for a job or are happy

with their current one.”

“For the first time in the world, an

online job placement model has been created that commits a job seeker

to provide his video profile and psychometric test in order to better

his chances of finding a job. On the other hand, it lessens

recruitment time of a corporate as these parameters enable the

company take an effective decision in quick time,” added

Deveshwar.
