Erode association to conduct election in February

IT associations of Erode, Tamil Nadu will conduct their yearly election in February. A new team will be elected which will chalk out the associations plans for next one year. EDITA will be electing five members which consists of president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and joint secretary. The new team will be effective from April. Erode associations has already elected two-members two represent it in the state association Confed-ITA. The two members to represent EDITA in Confedi-ITA are TK Chandrashekhar and Macs Kalyan.

Speaking to DQ Week, R. Senthil Kumar, Secretary, EDITA, said, "EDITA's main concern is threa from e-commerce and the new team will carry on our agenda. We have already discussed this with the CTO of local sales tax office and mentioned about the tax losses which the governemnt has to undergo due to e-commerce".

The association concluded one expo, eye camp and blood-donation camp recently. It has also insured the offices of all the members from burglary, fire and other damages.
