In an effort to revive the company's operations, Epitome Networks is
concentrating heavily on building a renewed customer base. It is now focusing on
bagging new contracts, especially in developing areas of Rajarhat.
“In the past few years, we have been facing a resource crunch, primarily on
funding side. However, we are now on our way to revival and are concentrating
heavily on our core networking front,” said Rajarshi Ghosh, Executive Director,
Epitome.
The company, in this fresh initiative, has bagged a major contract floated by
McNally Bharat in the Rajarhat area of West Bengal last month, where Epitome
will be providing its network solutions for four floors in an upcoming major
multiplex.
Estimated at Rs 88 lakh, Epitome will be providing a networking model for
4,330 nodes with 114 dual face plate and 1,093 quad face plate technology, using
Tyco Electronics, which has been functioning actively since a long time in the
company's portfolio.
Commenting on Epitome's loyalty with Tyco, Ghosh said, “For big projects, we
need to ensure quality products with good after-sales support team. In this
project, we will be using all Tyco products because projects of this size demand
good quality products and support.”
Also, Ghosh hinted that soon, a Wi-Fi installation may be deployed in the
same area.
With the company heading towards emerging as the largest network integrator
in the East, Epitome has already completed a cumbersome project in Bengal
Engineering College. Also, the company is working towards completing deployments
in a short span of time.
Ghosh is expecting a 100 percent growth in the company compared to the
previous year's revenue.
