Marketing, known for its 'Enter' brand of multimedia products,
storage and networking devices and Bluetooth dongles, is now
venturing into the security surveillance space. The company has
launched a range of products, including standalone DVR systems,
PCI-based DVR cards, CCTV cameras etc.
Talking about the new
venture, Akhilesh Gupta, Director, Fortune Marketing said, “With
the brand Enter, we offer a complete range of IT solutions to our
customers. Surveillance is slowly finding its footing under the IT
solutions umbrella too. With more and more people investing in
security surveillance, the space is emerging as a promising
opportunity for vendors. Therefore, we decided to offer these
solutions.” Gupta further added that 80 percent of the security
surveillance market in India is gray market, with everyone offering
anything and everything to an interested customer. With Enter, Gupta
wants to provide customers with a reputed and affordable brand that
they can rely on. The products come with a guaranteed warranty, and
after-sales service will also be offered to customers by Fortune
Marketing.
The products will be
distributed by both the IT and non-IT channel. Fortune Marketing
wants to work with both specialized surveillance resellers and
dealers who are interested in venturing into this space. “When
networking products arrived in the market, there were a few brave
dealers who chose to invest in that space and they reaped rewards for
their gamble. Now, almost everyone is offering networking solutions.
I think the surveillance industry is also going to go the same way.
We are getting calls from various resellers interested in our
products. We will join hands with any competent channel partner who
promises to provide us with volume business and is willing to invest
money in surveillance.”
To educate partners about
their newest product offerings, Fortune Marketing is conducting
seminars in various cities across India. They have already held a
training session in Agra, which was attended by around 150-200
partners of the region. The seminar highlighted the reasons why one
should invest in the surveillance space with Fortune Marketing and
also gave partners an opportunity to experience the products
first-hand. “The event in Agra received tremendous response from
the partner community there. We plan to hold such training sessions
in Nagpur, Chandigarh, Cochin, Indore, Surat and Coimbatore in the
first phase. It is important to make the dealers aware that the
surveillance space is opening up and this is the right time to invest
in it,” concluded Gupta.
