CITI Solutions (Center for Integrated Technological Innovative Solutions), a start-up company (part of KAP Group) providing CBT solutions, has launched their first set of CDs for English language learning under the title ELLIS.
English Language Learning Innovative Solutions (ELLIS) is an unique program targeted at any audience who wish to improve their language skills and presently, the company has launched their first set of three CDs basically focused on the writing skills in the language. Comprising three modules in each CD-Grammar, Reading and Writing, the first set is expected to make a big hit in the market.
"We have maintained international standards in all our products and we are in the process of getting international accreditation which will give value to our product across the globe," said CTP Umer Salim, Vice Chairman, CITI Solutions.
Dr PN Ramani, a renowned professor in English language teaching has designed and developed the product, while CITI Solutions has signed with him for publishing and marketing rights.
"We will be launching our next set of CDs for spoken English, which will have programs on Pronunciation, Listening and Speaking by next month," he said.
ELLIS' first set is priced at Rs 1,600, while the second set, to be released next month, is being quoted at around Rs 2,000.
"Our product can meet international standards and we are eyeing overseas business in the next stage. Initially, we will take it across the country and targeting all age groups, as language learning is common to all. We are confident of selling 20,000 sets in each category," said
Ramani.
The company is planning to take both direct and channel marketing route to sell its products. "We are appointing channel partners across the country and also tying up with retails showrooms to promote our product," said Salim. The company is also planning to bundle the products with major vendors.
In the next stage, CITI Solutions plans to launch business communication modules and a teacher training product, apart from CBTs on Maths and Computer Science.
