In what could be an alarming story for

all the sub-distributors, an employee of a leading Delhi-based

partner, href="https://www.dqweek.com/elcom-lg-ties-up-for-experience-center">Elcom

Trading Company fled away with five Lenovo ThinkPad

Edge 14” 0578- HNQ laptops.

The incident took place on January 27,

when Raju the employee went out for a delivery to a local dealer at

Nehru Place and did not return for hours. Raju, who hails from

Orissa, had been employed with Elcom for six months. Though he has

been absconding ever since the theft, no FIR has been made, till the

time of filing this report.

Speaking to The DQ Week, Sunil

Narang, Director of Elcom Trading Company confirming the same, said

that, “We employed Raju six months back. He had been working with

the IT traders at Nehru Place for the past five years. We are still

in the process to lodge a complaint with the local police, as the

process is apparently cumbersome.”

Raju reportedly lives in a shared

accommodation in the Zamrudpur area of Delhi. There have been a couple

of similar

incidents in the company's history. In one such case, a guy in a bid

to steal a notebook from the company pretended to be an employee of

another organization, but his attempts went in vain.
