In what could be an alarming story for
all the sub-distributors, an employee of a leading Delhi-based
partner,

Trading Company fled away with five Lenovo ThinkPad
Edge 14” 0578- HNQ laptops.
The incident took place on January 27,
when Raju the employee went out for a delivery to a local dealer at
Nehru Place and did not return for hours. Raju, who hails from
Orissa, had been employed with Elcom for six months. Though he has
been absconding ever since the theft, no FIR has been made, till the
time of filing this report.
Speaking to The DQ Week, Sunil
Narang, Director of Elcom Trading Company confirming the same, said
that, “We employed Raju six months back. He had been working with
the IT traders at Nehru Place for the past five years. We are still
in the process to lodge a complaint with the local police, as the
process is apparently cumbersome.”
Raju reportedly lives in a shared
accommodation in the Zamrudpur area of Delhi. There have been a couple
of similar
incidents in the company's history. In one such case, a guy in a bid
to steal a notebook from the company pretended to be an employee of
another organization, but his attempts went in vain.
