EdITA conducts blood donation camp

Erode District Information Technology Association recently conducted a blood donation camp at Erode. Nearly 35 units of blood were donated by the association members during the camp, which was inaugurated by Confed-ITA President B.Kuberan.

"The event was very nice and the arrangements were extremely good. The EdITA team has made the event wonderful, " said Kuberan.

Elaborating on the initiative, Senthil Kumar, Secretary, EdITA, said to The DQ week, "This is the first social welfare activity conducted by the association after the new team sworn in. The blood donation camp was conducted along with a local NGO." He further added that generally the amount of blood donated during summer is very less. We were requested by the NGO to take part and almost all our members in the association participated in the camp.Even though the event was conducted in a short notice, it turned to be a high-profile one as Kuberan consented to grace the event."
