Recognized for pro-viding platforms compatible with today's emerging
technologies, Elitegroup Computer Systems Inc (ECS), a leading computer hardware
and notebook manufacturer, has worked with Intel to earn Intel Viiv technology
verification for several of its motherboards. The 945G-M3 is the first ECS
motherboard to make it on the Intel Recommended Materials List (Intel RML) - a
database of hardware, content, services, and applications that have passed
interoperability testing to work with Intel Viiv technology-based PCs. Other
motherboards, including the PX1, G965T-M are expected to be on the Intel RML
soon.

“The inclusion of ECS motherboards in the Intel RML comes as a significant
development in our continuing effort to market rigidly-tested motherboards that
are true to their technological promises. Knowing ECS motherboards are Intel
Viiv technology verified, gives our customers total confidence their systems
will perform at the highest levels,” said Adam Chou, MD - Product Marketing
Division, ECS.

Through regular updates, the Intel RML informs original design manufacturers
(ODMs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), system integrators (SIs), and
individual users of products and applications that have passed Intel interoperability
testing, thus enabling simplified integration, convenient selection, and faster
creation of Intel Viiv technology-based PCs.

ECS motherboards like the 945G-M3, PX1 and G965T-M all thrive in a full
spectrum of user environments and offer the latest generation of high
performance, low-power processors suitable for desktops and compact home
entertainment systems with efficient thermal management, quiet operation, and
flexibility for a variety of storage, I/O, and expansion options. All come with
Intel Quick Resume technology, Intel Matrix Storage technology, and home theater
quality audio via integrated Intel high definition audio (Intel HD audio) and
offer cutting-edge visuals through advanced integrated graphics.
