Logica Infoway Ltd (ELIL) has bagged the award for the Best RD at the

national level from notebook major Lenovo in April. ELIL is all set

to focus on the retail segment and is planning to come up with

exclusive retail outlets, particularly eying the monitor major,




the company is also planning to strengthen its Lenovo notebook

distribution system across West Bengal and is optimistic enough to

take it to the 'numero uno' slot for the region. “Presently,

Lenovo occupies 10.4% marketshare in the Indian notebook segment and

in Bengal, it is 21%, while other competitors have a negative 10% gap

in the region. I am now going to focus on taking Lenovo to emerge as

the largest marketshare holder in Bengal,” said href="">Gaurav

ELIL. With Lenovo featuring as the prime brand in terms of

distribution for ELIL, revenues from distribution and retail of

Lenovo products comprises about 25% of the company's total gross

revenue. Growing at a pace of 40% y-o-y for the last 3 years, ELIL

closed the last financial year at Rs 148 crore from which retail

revenues accounted for 37% of the total gross. This year, however,

ELIL is projected to have a 20% y-o-y growth with Goel predicting the

total gross revenue to stand at Rs 180 crore.

for our major distribution brand. Average monthly sale for Lenovo

notebooks is around 2800, out of which, we sell 2000. We want to

strengthen this figure further.”
