Dynamite Industrial PCs exported to US

Dynalog (India) Ltd, a company dealing in industrial and rugged PCs has exported five of its Dynamite 623 industrial PCs to US. The export has been made to IGTL Switch & Data Facilities Co LLC, Miami for $ 20,000.

The 623 series that has been exported supports upto 20-slot PCI/ISA backplanes, has three hot-swappable 86 CFM cooling fans and fault detection with audible and visual alarms for power supply and fan failure or overheating. The machine is a Intel PIII 800 MHz with a heavy-duty steel construction. The machine is capable of a 24/7/365 continuous operation.

IGTL Switch & Data Facilities Co LLC, Miami is a call center company and will essentially use the Dynamite PCs for routing calls.

Priced in the range of Rs 75,000 to Rs 2.5 lakh, the Dynamite series is expected to generate interest among a large section of users who have been making do with normal PCs because of the price differential involved. The Dynamite series is based on the Advantech hardware. Dynalog India Ltd and Advantech Co Ltd, Taiwan have been working together in the field of industrial PCs and other hardware components for more than a decade now. The branding of the Industrial PCs under the Dynamite series is a significant step in indigenising the product.

Dynamite series will find applications in Industrial Automation, Networking & bunch of new Internet applications which include VPN (Virtual Private Network), VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), UMS (Unified Messaging System), Voice Loggers,Prepaid Card Billing Systems etc.
