Dynacons organizes first CIO meet in Mumbai

Dynacons Systems and Solutions, one of the premier providers of IT infrastructure solutions in the country, has got into an image creation mode by positioning the company as a complete IT solution provider in front of both the existing and potential customers.

In this endeavor, the company has initiated a series of CIO roundtables which it will be conducting with the help of some of the leading principals. In the first of the series of such events, Dynacons organized a CIO roundtable at Mumbai in partnership with IBM on December 12. Around 25 CIOs from different vertical industries graced this occasion.

The subject of this selective meet was 'scalable and resilient IT', wherein all the CIOs present shared their experiences and various issues on managing IT like data center build and manage, BCP and DR issue, and IT management issues. After noting down all the points raised during the discussion, IBM suggested the best practices that can be followed by the CIOs and the ways to overcome these challenges of managing their day-to-day operations.

Dharmesh Anjaria, director, Dynacons, pointed out, "This is one branding exercise that we have initiated with the help of principals. We want to portray ourselves as a complete IT solution provider in front of both the existing as well as prospective customers, who is capable of handling data center business, IT management issues, and BCRP (Business Continuity and Resilience Planning) amongst other critical services. We want to show to the industry that Dynacons do have all these capabilities."

"We will keep organizing such kind of roundtable meeting to talk to our existing customers and convey the right message and then build the relationship. Otherwise, customers perceive you as a player/expert of any one particular domain only. The other idea is that vendors will also get to interact closely with their potential customers," added Anjaria.

Now that the first roundtable has successfully kicked off, the company is planning to conduct it once in every quarter. Dynacons will take up a new IT issue every time and have a healthy discussion on it with the help of the principals. And along with IBM, such roundtables will also be organized in association with Dell and Apple.

"As we felt the need to re-model, re-vitalize, and re-position ourselves in front of the customers, we have initiated this event. We are trying to identify customer pain areas and build opportunities. This is a marketing initiative that will drive sales in the long run. As we write our growth story in the country, this kind of exercise is definitely required to give you an edge over the other players in the market," concluded Anjaria.
