About 180-250 software professionals would work on the project in the 30,000 sq ft facility which has had an investment of about Rs 5
crore.

"We had no significant long term offshore development relationship with India since Y2K. We are looking at the relationship with DSQ on a long-term basis since outsourcing from the US help us cut 50 percent of the cost," said Hardat Ramkhelawan, Chief Applications Officer, Liberty Mutual Insurance.

"The project from Liberty Mutual Insurance is one of the largest projects for DSQ. In the changed scenario following the slowdown in the US, it makes sense for Indian infotech companies to tie up with leading foreign IT companies. DSQ has already tied up with a French based SEMA and the UK based CSE," said Pawan Kumar, CEO, DSQ.
