Speaking to The DQ Week, Ghosh said, "There has been a change in the MMD business. From January onwards, I'm no more looking after India business. In my new role, I will be responsible for Philips and AOC for the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia regions."

Ghosh will work as the GM and operations head of MMD, (a brand license agreement with Philips and a subsidiary of $13 bn TPV group). He will be responsible for supervising the operations of MMD-TPV general management, sales, marketing, business development customer service, etc, for Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia.

MMD, the brand license holder for Philips monitors started its India operations last year with the appointment of Ghosh, by launching an extensive range of LED and LCD monitors. According to the TPV spokesperson, "Ghosh has moved into a new role, and the Philips monitor business continues to be managed by TPV India."

TPV Technology as a company is divided into six regions globally including America, Europe, China, Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, India, and Asia Pacific. Hence, each six regions will be headed by general managers.

Under the aegis of Ghosh, MMD Philips had got a structured distribution and channel in place. Today, MMD Philips is present in four regions. "After spending 1 year at MMD Philips, I had structured the entire channel and organization. It was then handed over to TPV India for further operations," he said.
